Community Events

ADAC hosts community engagements from neighborhood events to pop-ups and conferences, bringing together families from across Philadelphia. By creating safe, welcoming environments for community members to eat, play, and learn, we reach families with critical resources and experiences that strengthen family bonds and promote holistic wellness.

We also collaborate with partnered organizations and community stakeholders at events across Philadelphia to provide information about our programs and services, hold product giveaways, and increase access to resources for community members. Submit a request for ADAC to host a table at your organization's event here.

HTTBU Events & Pop-Ups

Healing the Trauma Between Us (HTTBU), and ADAC initiative, brought free workshops, community pop-ups, and conferences to families and community members.

Centered on healing individual and shared trauma from violence, addictions, financial hardship, and more, HTTBU created fun and welcoming spaces for learning, growing, and healing as a family.

Peace + Unity = Community

On September 17, 2022, ADAC hosted Peace + Unity = Community, a free violence prevention event geared toward promoting togetherness in our homes, schools, and neighborhoods by celebrating unity in a fun and joyful space. The event featured resource tables from community-based organizations, food and drinks, music, carnival and yard games, a game truck, face painting, free giveaways for the first 300 attendees, raffle prizes, and more!
